Feeling a little down or unsure of yourself? Stop what you’re doing and follow these 5 ways to feel more confident than ever right now!
“When you have confidence, you can do anything.” Sloane Stevens was right. Believing in yourself and what you’re doing is imperative to feeling happy and successful. If you have confidence within yourself and your abilities, everyone will too.

1. Stand tall.
The first sign of confidence is someone’s posture. I’m talking chin up and shoulders back. Stand tall and proud because you should be! You are an incredible human being full of intelligent ideas, so keep your head high and strut that confidence!

2. Smile
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fixed negativity or doubt in what I’m working on by simply smiling. It’s impossible to keep feeling sad or unsure once you let out a genuine smile. I get butterflies in my tummy and a feeling of warmth that turns my entire mood around and brings back my confidence.

3. Positive Self Talk
There is no room for the opposite here. As soon as you think a negative thought about yourself, you better correct it with some self-love, and just as quickly. There is no reason to bring yourself down when there are so many things to love about you. Your body and your mind do so much for you, so show them some gratitude and love. I know it might not be easy. I know those hurtful thoughts can get overwhelming. But I need you to practice responding back with love. The more you say it, the more you’ll believe it (because it’s true <3).

4. Don’t doubt your worth - know your worth
People take advantage of and use other people. It’s a sad reality, but you don’t have to stand for it and you better not start believing you’re worth less if this happens! I’ve dealt with this in every job I have ever been offered. And every time, I stand up for myself and fight for my worth. Have confidence in who you are and what you’ve done. You’re priceless.

5. Have a growth mindset
This is the best one. Whenever you face challenges, criticism, or setbacks, it is important to have a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset. Your growth mindset will see these elements as tools and experiences to learn and continue achieving your goals. Take these roadblocks as lessons, believe in yourself, and have the confidence to keep going.

I know that life can get you down. You can’t control the actions of other people, but you can control your actions and reactions to the things that other people do. Also, remember: life isn’t happening to you, it’s happening for you. There is a lesson to be learned in all of the challenges you face, and they’re there to help you grow. Have the confidence to keep going. You can do it!

”Self confidence is a super power. Once you start believing in yourself, magic starts happening.”

Thank you for being you & thank you for being here,
